As the ongoing partial U.S. #governmentshutdown continues to strain airports nationwide, #DeltaAirLines has announced it will temporarily suspend special travel perks, like dedicated congressional services and escorts, for members of Congress until Department of Homeland Security funding is restored.  Now lawmakers will be treated like regular passengers; a move reflecting the travel headaches hitting airports amid the shutdown.
