Our Coach of the Year for Division II/III is Bentley head 🏈 coach CJ Scarpa. Scarpa will be among those honored at tonight’s Bob Whelan College Football Awards in Burlington (ticket link in bio). Scarpa, a 2017 Bentley alum and former Falcon quarterback, hit the ground running in his debut season as Bentley’s head coach. The Falcons posted a 7-4 overall record in 2025, winning the Northeast 10 title for the first time since 2019. Bentley also reached the NCAA Division II tournament for the first time since 2021. After beginning the season with three straight losses, Scarpa successfully guided the Falcons through the early adversity, as Bentley ultimately won seven straight games to claim the NE10 crown. Thirteen Falcons earned All-NE10 honors this season. Wide receiver Isaiah Decias was named the NE10 Offensive Player of the Year, and quarterback Luke Warnock was named the NE10 Rookie of the Year.
