What we experience shapes the way we see the world. - When I talk with people about design, especially people who are flirting with the idea of making something for the first time, I reassure them with this. - What you have experienced in your life is unique to you. It has perfectly positioned you to create something that no body else will. If you draw from places you’ve been, people you’ve met and experiences that you can emotionally reconnect with then your work will embody part of you and that makes it original. - I know that first work won’t articulate with excellence the vision that you see in your head but it sets you on a path and I truly believe that what you’ll make is worth it.
