Grevy’s zebra are, to me, the most beautiful creatures. Their stripes so fine they look hand-painted. It’s hard to imagine they were once hunted for their pelts until they were nearly gone. Seeing them in the wild feels like witnessing something rare and sacred.
I was honored to move with them across the savanna, to feel the ground shake under hundreds of hooves.
There’s something humbling about seeing animals move as one body. It feels ancient, like you’re watching the memory of the earth itself. It’s as if the whole landscape is breathing with them.
I wanted these pages to hold that rhythm, that pulse — so you could feel it too.
