The next artwork in Close My Eyes So I Can See series is called Agya Awakening. The Agya (or ajna) chakra located in the centre of the brow is sometimes referred to as the third eye or mind’s eye. It’s also said to be the gateway to the soul or doorway to the infinite. They’re all important but as far chakras go it’s a bit of a big deal. There are many yogic practices that aim to unlock or awaken Agya. To do so it’s said is to enable an enlightened state of awareness beyond the 5 senses with access to universal intelligence, transcendental wisdom and the infinite potential of our being.
