An estimated 2.5 million people have pledged to stop using ChatGPT as the #QuitGPT movement gains momentum worldwide. The figure includes users who say they canceled subscriptions, pledged to leave the platform, or shared boycott posts across social media. The backlash intensified after OpenAI signed a deal allowing its AI systems to run on classified U.S. Department of Defense networks. Reports said rival AI company Anthropic declined a similar agreement due to concerns over surveillance and autonomous weapons. Criticism also grew after it was revealed that OpenAI president Greg Brockman and his wife donated $25 million to MAGA Inc., a pro-Trump super PAC. Some users began posting cancellation screenshots and switching to alternatives such as Claude while calling for stronger ethical accountability from AI companies. Despite the boycott, ChatGPT still has more than 900 million weekly users globally. What's your take on this?
