The “hallway” isn’t a place.
It’s a nervous system posture.
It’s standing just outside the room,
not because you’re unwelcome,
but because somewhere along the way
you learned to wait.
Wait to be invited.
Wait to be chosen.
Wait to feel important enough to enter.
When I was having these dreams,
I wasn’t on vacation.
I was actively shedding old identities.
Old performance patterns.
Old attachment strategies.
I was recalibrating my nervous system in real time.
Choosing myself during the day,
even when old belonging wounds flared up.
The dreams weren’t random.
They were integration.
What you release while awake,
your subconscious rehearses at night.
Loss.
Worth.
Hesitation.
Agency.
They work together.
You don’t wake up transformed.
You practice it in both worlds.
