End of an era. What I’m most proud of is building this incredible team. We laughed a lot. We worked hard. We created an environment where people felt safe and welcomed. Hospitality can be brutal at times. Guests can be challenging. Sales are up and down. The pressure can be intense. Mind games can be played. But at the end of the day what matters are the relationships It may be a business, But it takes human beings to run and operate it. The humanity is the foundation. Relationships are what holds it together. You can’t take humanity out of the equation. If you do, there’s nothing holding it together. Nurture your work relationships and watch your business grow. Thank you to my team. You taught me about patience. You taught me about grace. You taught me about trust. You taught me how to lead with compassion.
