Meet the Siesta…she’s more sophisticated, sweeter, tequila forward and nicely bitter from the grapefruit and Campari. This would be the perfect drink for Cinco de Mayo. 👇🏼 My version uses agave in place of simple syrup and I prefer a 100% agave resposado tequila like espolontequila over silver. Here’s how to make one👇🏼 Siesta Cocktail 2 oz Reposado Tequila ¾ ounce fresh lime juice ¾ ounce agave syrup ½ ounce Campari ½ ounce fresh grapefruit juice Lime wheel, for garnish Also not traditional, I add a mix of salt, sugar and lime zest to the rim.
