New Jersey officials have upheld a decision to fire a death investigator who leaked confidential details about the crash that killed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau in August 2024. Soon after the crash occurred and before news of the brothers' deaths was made public, the worker in the Gloucester County Medical Examiner's Office sent his notes about the crash to a group chat, court documents say. A member of that chat then posted the information on social media. The state's Civil Service Commission said that even though it was the worker's first offense, it was serious and warranted a firing. A judge had previously ruled that a six-month suspension would be an acceptable punishment. Swipe➡️ for more details on the case #johnnygaudreau #johnnyhockey #nj
