Lebanon has a soul — anyone who’s been, or has roots there, feels it. I’m half Lebanese, now I truly understand why my father loved it so deeply… I feel the same. There is something about that land that stays with you — something magnetic, the people , the culture , the history , the strength , the presence ! Right now, its true voice is being drowned out by the sound of drones and bombs. But that is not the true voice of Lebanon. This soundscape is her voice for me The laughter, the music, the rhythm of everyday life. The people behind the headlines. The lives that continue to find joy and dark humor even in the hardest moments. I’ve always felt Lebanon is a she — strong, beautiful, endlessly giving. But she is tired. Tired of rising. Tired of being called a phoenix. It’s enough . She deserves more than survival. She deserves peace. She deserves to flourish.
