This weekend my baby boy turned three. 🎉💙 And honestly…it feels surreal. When I was first diagnosed with cancer, doctors told me chemo might damage my reproductive system forever. I froze my eggs. I went through failed IVF. I was told I would never have a baby naturally. Then—three weeks before I was supposed to go back on my cancer medication—surprise. I was pregnant. Fast forward three years, and here he is. My thriving, joyous, kind, beautiful boy. Every time I look at him, I still can’t believe it. And yes, even on mornings like today when he flat-out refused to take off his pajamas for school (so he went in his pajamas, because pick your battles, right?)—I wouldn’t trade a second of it. He brings us so much joy. This weekend we celebrated surrounded by family, thanking the village that has carried us, carried him, and helped shape him into this very loved little human.
