The contrast of using AI (technology that removes creative limitations) to recreate a horror sub-genre born from tight budgets fascinated me. Horror films like The Blair Witch Project, relied on shaky camerawork and the camcorder / vhs style not as a choice, but as a necessity. AI, on the other hand, can make anything look expensive. So what happens when you use it to recreate the lo-fi vibe of found footage horror?
