This week thedanielbairdfoundation delivered a #ControlTheBleed 🩸 awareness session for staff and customers at the Navigation pub in King’s Norton, #Birmingham The training was especially poignant. Just over a year ago the venue was the scene of a serious triple stabbing where three people were left with life-threatening injuries. The pub’s manager, who experienced that terrifying incident first-hand, bravely took part in the session herself and said how valuable the training was. Last year The Daniel Baird Foundation donated a bleed control kit to the pub. Now staff and members of the community know how to use it and how to control a catastrophic bleed until emergency services arrive.
