#instawhoring post is here — highlights from my night shoots around Semaphore and Port Adelaide this week, fired on the Leica SL3.
Yeah, yeah, I know… some of you see the red dot and go “ooooh, fancy boy must be rich.” Nah. They’re tools. My tools. After years dragging Nikon, Canon, Sony, Hasselblad, and Fujifilm through the mud, I’ve settled into Leica because they give me the timeless quality I’m chasing. Fits me, a guy who’s anti-modern in half the ways that count.
Truth is, if film didn’t cost fifty bucks a roll, I’d be living on it daily. But even digital, I’ve never been a spray-and-pray shooter. Sure, some events I’ll churn out a thousand frames
but none of that rapid-fire bullshit. Slow it down. Enjoy it. Be in the moment. Just me, the camera, and the kind of dark, gritty shots that actually grab you.
