The other day I managed to make the journey down to Hiroshima (which honestly was one of the main parts of Japan I needed to see) it consisted of a long but worthwhile day. The peace garden while in itself is quite hauntingly beautiful, you can’t help but take on the weight of devastation that was beset upon this city quite some time ago. While on the other hand I personally did overhear a number of tourists that were quite disrespectful there (that being said I could have heard things out of context too).
