Every Hiromita begins in a void. Full of potential — yet dark. Graphite. Black paint. Pumice stone. The surface resists. The hands insist. Until a figure appears — Not summoned easily, But scratched from silence. These paintings were called from the dark in my studio — and have since traveled beyond it. One was exhibited at Contemporary Istanbul (2023), and soon after found its home with a Turkish collector. One stood quietly at Art021 Shanghai (2024). One watched from ArtAnkara Fair (2025) — the rooftop guardian, leaving for her next journey.
