As one of Asia’s leading art fairs, Art021 brings together incredible artists, galleries, and collectors from around the world, and I’m so grateful for the warm interest from everyone who visited. art021_official Artist ANQI, founder of Hiromita Project: “This journey into the Chinese art market has felt especially meaningful as I reconnect with my roots—my ancestors on my mother’s side lived in Anxi county of Fujian, China and migrated to Taiwan around the 1650s. I am now preparing for my first solo show in China, an exciting step that feels like a homecoming of sorts.” Earlier this year, BFMArtCenter and hiromitaproject had collaborated on an outdoor project at Suzhou Bay Sports Park, where children could interact with Hiromita in a playful and creative space.
