Mostly resting and reflecting these days and sometimes learning to cook my favorite Asian dishes with new sauces / oils / vinegars. I managed to cook some of my favorite Taiwanese and Chinese dishes. At nights I watch stand-up shows of Asian American comedians--provides some sort of healing due to shared experiences about having Asian parents. About the artwork: 😺 "Hiromita - Hope" arrived back home a couple days ago. Recently exhibited in a group show titled "Theme: Meta" at tilkisanat art gallery in Izmir, Turkey. I worked with acrylics, oil & soft pastels with layers of transparent acrylic gesso in between.
