🎄When I was a kid, I loved celebrating two new years—Western & Chinese thanks to being in an intercultural family. 🎊We would celebrate the Chinese new year at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Mission in Ankara, Turkey. There would be a gift raffle that used to make me so excited. Never won one of the big prizes but the anticipation was so worth it. 🎊 🎄As 2023 ends, I am in a reflective mode. I look backward and notice the cycles that are ending.
