I spent time studying the techniques of the masters and wondered how I could translate some of their approaches to my workflow. It turned out to be a very interesting challenge, and I had to learn a lot of new skills. A few of the characters, for example, have their facial expressions slightly changing during the shot. Although it might not be the most obvious aspect of this piece, I spent time fine-tuning the characters (specifically their features) to make them seem like they belong to an era rather than a specific genre or author. This was quite interesting from a conceptual point of view about my work and an important skill I had been wanting to solidify for a while now.
