I still find inspiration in the music that shaped me, outkast Atliens was released 30 years ago 1996, the album insert featured comic illustrations and on the disc inside, a woman bathing in glowing green liquid. I always interpreted this as some type of funk baptism. The imagery was iconic and stuck with me to this day but the inspiration has evolved. Elevated.
