As the 2025 to 2026 Laker season comes to a close, we look back on a year defined by growth, belief, and a team that showed up every day ready to play to win. From the very start, this group set the tone. Strong fundraising efforts and support off the ice helped build a foundation for success, and it carried into everything they did on the ice. With a new coaching staff leading the way, the culture shifted, expectations rose, and the standard became clear. Through every challenge, this team continued to compete, improve, and find ways to win. A defining moment of the season came with bringing home the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Tournament Championship, a reflection of the work, buy in, and belief in each other. Earning a return trip to ACHA Nationals was another milestone that showed just how far this group has come and where they are headed.
