Today we’re heading to The Golden State for our Army ROTC #CadetOfTheWeek 🎉 Meet Zoe Schenk, a senior majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of California, Davis. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Schenk joined #ArmyROTC after becoming interested in the military at a young age. “By the time I was in high school, I knew I wanted to serve. Several of my friends who had graduated went on to join ROTC, and encouraged me to consider it as a pathway to pursuing both education and the Army.” “In my opinion, the biggest opportunity ROTC provides is mentorship. During my first week at college, the administration told us that the most successful students have at least two peers, and two professors who mentor them.
