I want to talk about the waiting because I think it is one of the least discussed things that keeps people stuck. Not laziness. Not fear exactly. The waiting. Waiting for someone with more authority than you to confirm that the thing you want to do is worth doing. Waiting for a mentor to see you. Waiting for a sign that you are ready. Waiting for the room to give you permission to enter it. I did this. I am not above this. I spent time I cannot get back waiting for validation that was never coming from the direction I was looking.
