I want to be careful here because I do not want this to sound like I am minimizing the value of the rooms. The rooms matter. The connections matter. The conversations that happen in the right spaces with the right people have changed the trajectory of my business more than once and I am grateful for every one of them. And also. There is nothing in any of those rooms that has ever made me feel as clear, as grounded, as completely certain of who I am and what I am building, as standing at the edge of the ocean or a mountain or a river too wide to see across. The rooms tell me what is possible. The water reminds me why any of it matters. I need both. I make sure I have both.
