I never realised how difficult daily chores would be once I moved out of my parents house where I didn’t have to lift a finger. While I always looked forward to beginning my life living with Jeevan, I didn’t realise how difficult finding time out for ourselves would be. When we didn’t live together, we ensured we spent quality time and in the last couple of months, our schedules took so much away from us. It was this decision to extend our stay in Goa for a couple of days post our cousin’s wedding that made us realise what we’d been missing out on- us. The last couple of days have been rejuvenating and refreshing. We let life distract us instead of creating it. We’ve learned and realised so much more about each other and have made a conscious decision to take more time out for each other now on.
