Stone Meets Light In Tuscania, the ancient Romanesque Church of Saint Peter has been reimagined through the transformative proposal "Stone Meets Light", where the eternal solidity of stone meets the ethereal qualities of light. The bold contrast of polycarbonate walls and roofs creates a dynamic interplay of natural light, shifting throughout the day, reflecting the passage of time while honouring the church’s rich history. The modern, translucent volumes harmonize with the original architecture, embracing the geometry of the towers and pitched roof, yet casting a soft, glowing aura that marks the boundary between the past and the present.
