This weekend is our wedding anniversary! Some photos from this week and a bit of a story about a micro part of our past. Our life hasn’t always been as shiny as we display on here. We had extremely tough times. At one point, we lost our home in 2008, along with our investments and savings, leaving us with nothing but debt. Without Deb’s parents’ help, we would have been homeless; they gave us shelter, food, and hope. I (Andy) had to sit with a psychologist for around 20 weekly sessions of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) to cope with the losses and try to make sense of life. One night, as I was returning to Deb’s parents’ home, this song came on the radio. Instantly, I got goosebumps, humbled by the thought of the amazing princess I had in Debbie I knew I had to ask her to become Mrs. P. This song was so fitting.
