17/08/18 Somewhere in Vietnam ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We had to ride nearly 500 kms to be back in Hanoi from Sapa! A task that tested both our extremes on our very limited paced motorbikes! Hell or heaven we had to! My visa was expiring a day later, Roshan had booked a follow on flight from Hanoi to Ho chi minh city. We were meant to take another day for the journey, but meeting a DJ in Saapa and her promise of getting to show the nightlife had given both of us a “no objection” order for cutting short our trip back to one whole day of hard riding from each other. We started at 11 AM from Sapa, we reached Hanoi at 8 AM the next day, not a blink of sleep. Rained through out, Roshans bike broke down once, numerous Vietnamese coffees! But hell of a ride! Our real stop for a rest was in the middle of hair pin roads on a mountain, at Mr. Troys motorcycle workshop, we had pin dropped the location on to our map, it was our second visit to his shop, he had 1000 indian rupees that needed a conversion...
