23/07/2018 First day of riding in vietnam, left my hostel in Ho chi minh city early to avoid traffic! As always just before I started any big adventure I was a little apprehensive. Texted my little sister to tell her how much i love the family and that i am starting my journey... After about an hour of going away from Ho chi minh city, the stupidity by other road users started to wear down and it was getting rather clearer. I was still getting accustomed to the new road system and machine that I had, Sufat 110 Japenese engine they said (chinese said everyone else), was a beautiful Honda win-esque bike and I started to be emotionally attached to it from the beginning itself. It wasn’t the fastest bikes I’ve ridden, so I realised the first day itself that it will take me a lot more time to get to Hanoi than I initially anticipated.
