Yuwa ranchi, was a game changer for me. It effectively uses the power of football to eradicate some of the major threats girls in India’s rural areas are facing. It includes, child abuse, lack of education, trafficking and child marriages. The graduates of the program, older ones with experience generally, will be tutored to coach the young and be given a salary. It has now grown to 300+ girls in the program.
