Kids pick up on a lot of things even when you don’t think they’re paying attention. 👀 When you’re a parent, you’re a provider, a protector, a leader, a teacher, a friend, a confidant. 🛡️🧭 There’s so much that comes into being a good parent. The number one thing is being present. 📵 Being in the moment when you’re with your kids. We all do it — I know I’m guilty of it. I gotta put my phone down sometimes and really pay attention to my sons… my wife… even the dogs. 🖤 They want my attention. They want my love. Just like my wife does. Just like my sons do. Just like my stepson does. Everyone needs attention. Everyone needs love. They also need leadership. They need guidance. They need to be taught and protected. 🧠💪 It’s a lot to juggle sometimes.
