Today, May 5th, is the National Day of Awareness for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Gender Diverse People also called Red Dress Day. Let's take a moment to remember and honor the lives of those who have been lost, and work towards ending this ongoing tragedy. Indigenous women, girls, and gender diverse people in Canada experience higher rates of violence than any other group. This is a tragedy that has been going on for far too long, and we must all take action to bring an end to it.
