Today I explored one of my favorite areas in Korea — Namwon. 💕 It’s a beautiful region full of nature, history, and craftsmanship. We visited Yeowonchi, a peaceful spot with breathtaking views, and walked through the magical Carpinus Laxiflora Forest, surrounded by tall trees and calm energy. At the Hwangsan Battle Monument Site, I learned that this is where King Taejo achieved a major victory during the Battle of Hwangsan, back when he was still a general in the Goryeo Dynasty — such a powerful part of history. Namwon is also famous for its traditional woodcraft, and we even got to make our own cutting boards!
