Meet the finalists for the 2026 Outstanding Women of Laurier Award in this video series presented by forbeswaterlootoyota A third-year kinesiology and physical education major from Waterloo, Ont., Kamryn Szumlinski is a leader on and off the ice. Szumlinski adds an extensive record of coaching, mentorship, and community involvement as an assistant coach with the Waterloo Ravens while also collaborating with the Grand River Mustangs Girls Hockey Association. Szumlinski consistently promotes equity and access for girls and underrepresented participants in sport.
