This morning, we were very proud to welcome the Rt. Hon. wesstreeting MP back to the University of East London for a major announcement on the future of the nhsengland, Joined by other ministers from the dhscgovuk, including Zubir Ahmed and Karin Smyth, as well as key stakeholders from across the NHS and local government, the Health Secretary delivered an important announcement on the future of our health service. It was a privilege to see our University once again providing the backdrop for such a significant national moment, and we were particularly proud of our healthcare students who were able to attend the event and ask questions during the session. Mr. Streeting last joined us in October to officially open our Neighbourhood Health Hub, a pioneering model providing accessible, preventative care for local communities, bringing healthcare closer to home through innovation and collaboration.
