LIONS ELEVATE PAST EAGLES: The jserra.beachvolleyball team kicked off the second half of Trinity League play on Thursday with a 4-1 road victory over the Santa Margarita Eagles at Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Margarita. JSerra is now 13-2 overall and 4-0 in league. Senior Skylar Noble and sophomore Ava Champagne supplied day’s most entertaining triumph for the Lions, as the duo claimed victory in three sets by scores of 21-18, 19-21, 15-11. Seniors Sara Moynihan and Presley Johnson were victorious by scores of 21-13 and 21-9, senior Catherine Beadles and junior Berit Brinkema claimed triumphs of 21-10 and 21-16, and juniors Sarah Thorp and Lyla Gerstenberger earned dual wins of 21-17 and 21-17. #lionnation #jserrabeachvolleyball #jserraathletics
