I’m from Seattle and grew up going to Seattle Sonics games so this is BIGGG news. Seattle hasn’t had an NBA team since 2008 when the Sonics were sold and became the OKC Thunder. The 04-05 team with Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, and Luke Ridnour among others was the one I followed most closely. ☔️🌲💛💚 The NBA’s board of governors has approved a vote for the league to explore bids and applicants for expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle.
