I stand in solidarity with the young people of Nepal, whose courageous voices are rising against corruption and the restriction of freedom through the ban on social media apps. This generation — the GenZ of Nepal — is not only the hope of tomorrow, but the conscience of today. Their demand is simple, yet powerful: a society free from corruption, a nation where rights are protected, and voices are not silenced.
I strongly condemn the unacceptable act of armed police firing upon unarmed civilians, especially the youth who were peacefully demonstrating for their lives, their dignity, and their future. To harm young people for exercising their democratic rights is a violation of humanity itself. Every bullet fired at a protester is a wound to democracy.
At the same time, I urge the youth of Nepal: let your protests be guided by peace, not provocation. True transformation comes not through destruction, but through dialogue, vision, and unity. You are not only resisting corruption you are ...
