Coaches talk about vision, lines, braking markers, exit points.
All valid.
But speed is built at the contact points.
Loading the outside peg increases chassis stability by shifting load through the swingarm and rear contact patch.
Anchoring to the tank reduces upper-body input, keeping the bars light and the front tyre neutral.
Minimal handlebar force preserves front-end feedback and prevents mid-corner instability.
It’s physics.
Force transfer.
Center of mass control.
Load management.
When your feet, knees, and core are working correctly, the bike turns with less effort, carries more mid-corner speed, and drives harder on exit.
Everything else is just noise if the contact points are wrong.
