My baby has her open house today, which in my world, really only means that we’re coming to an end of our little girl era as she is less than 2 weeks away from being a 1st grader. Parenthood is hard. I don’t think that comes as a surprise. But what has been surprising? The intense dichotomy of what can only be described as the ultimate bittersweet moments of parenthood. Like going from preschool and kindergarten to 1st grade. Or watching them — seemingly overnight — go from baby babbles and bubbles to vibrant, curious people full of thought.
