The words ”perfect” or “precision” don’t mean the same thing to everyone. My definition of precision feels very different than what I was taught in the hair world. It took me years of cutting “precision” to only find out I wasn’t cutting “precisely”. I was cutting technically precise but it wasn’t the precision the client asked for. They asked me to make their haircut work for their lifestyle, hair texture, density and the amount of time they are willing to spend on styling. Once I changed my view of what I was supposed to do ‘precisely’ - I noticed a big shift in my clientele. The grow out phase was better, they enjoyed styling their hair more - they got more compliments. Why? I was connecting my technical know-how to an outcome that wasn’t rooted in my ego of being the “best technically accurate hair cutter” but rather, giving my clients the best haircut for them. • • • • #hairlove #hairtransformation #hairoftheday #hairbrained #hairgoals #hairideas #hairofinstagram #behin...
