I got the chance to meet (and beef with 🤣) one of my idols at dreamconvention, Carl Jones (iamcarljones), Producer of #blackdynamite , #thejellies , #Younglove and most famously #theboondocks . This was honestly one of the most nerve wracking moments of my life lol but Carl and his Wife Love (lovejones.irl), received me with open hearts and for that I’m appreciative. I Was able to kick it with Carl for a moment and speak on the direction of animation and entertainment. Showed him some of my work and he told me I was official (holding in an explosion at this point😅). Talk about inspired. I didn’t get the chance to tell him this but my father’s name is also carl along with my middle name lol. I wanted to meet him again so I returned the next day to give him a gift in part 2 👀🎁
