Jocelyne Larocque, a proud Métis woman from Ste. Anne, Manitoba, is more than just a hockey legend, she’s a true trailblazer.
As the first Indigenous player on Canada’s Olympic women’s hockey team, she made history and opened doors for so many. She’s not only a powerhouse on the ice but also an amazing role model off it, inspiring Indigenous kids to dream big, embrace their culture, and play with pride.
Honestly, she’s the best example of leadership & courage. Showing us all how to rise up and lead with heart.
