One of the best parts of our summer and yearly #familytradition has been releasing baby #seaturtles into the wild at night. Yesterday we released 169 🐢 (one nest) but in total it has been more than 500. There are certain rules that have to be followed so that the baby turtles have a higher chance of survival 1. Never use white light use red or blue (white makes them blind, so please never use a flash if taking pics). 2. Release them after 9pm, they have a higher chance of not getting eaten by a bird or other predator. 3.
