For me & my “just one glass” lie. 😅🍷
The pour? vinodianna from Mt. Etna, Sicily 🌋!
🇮🇹 A lighter-style red built around Nerello Mascalese — the grape that gives Etna reds that fresh, elegant, volcanic energy.
🍇 What’s in the bottle:
Mostly Nerello Mascalese with a blend of local grapes (Nerello Cappuccio, Alicante/Grenache, Grecanico, Catarratto, Minnella Bianca).
💦 Why it tastes so fresh:
Vineyards on Etna’s north face at 700–900m altitude, on volcanic basalt soils → bright acidity, mineral tension, and a savoury smoky edge.
🍷 Winemaking (compact + cool):
Traditional Etna “palmento”, indigenous yeasts, short maceration (4–5 days), gentle ageing in neutral oak + chestnut barrels, no sulfur added.
👃 Taste: pale colour, floral, wild strawberry + vibrant cherry, soft juicy tannins and freshness for days.
Serve it slightly chilled (14–15°C) and thank me later. 😌
Cheers 🥂
