Back to the judges’ table for tierradesabor! This year, I had the honor of joining the Zarcillo International Wine Awards in Ávila — one of Spain’s most prestigious competitions that welcomes wines from all over the world. 🌎

🔍 The Process
Hundreds of wines. Blind tastings. No labels, no stories — just the liquid truth. We tasted and scored by strict international standards (OIV & UIOE), judging on aroma, structure, complexity, and overall balance. It felt like a deep dive into what truly makes a wine great — beyond the branding.
👩⚖️ The Jury
A global crew of oenologists, sommeliers, journalists, importers, winemakers… all bringing different palates to the table. Some debates were 🔥 — others, we all silently nodded at a wine that just spoke for itself.
