Michalann Clark, junior social work major, is turning personal experience into national-level impact. Over the past month, she has traveled across the country raising awareness and advocating for vulnerable youth. In Los Angeles, she served as the keynote speaker at Steven Tyler’s Grammy Watch Party, supporting Janie’s Fund, which aids young girls who have experienced trauma and instability. The event, featuring a red carpet appearance and performances by Steven Tyler and Yungblud, helped raise $4.1 million for the cause. She also participated in advocacy and policy work in Washington, D.C., with First Lady Melania Trump and other lived-experience experts.
