RUNWAY REOPEN: LaGuardia Airport's Runway 4/22 reopened after the fatal collision between an Air Canada jet and a firetruck Sunday night, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey confirms. "Since the removal of the plane and truck late Wednesday, the runway and associated infrastructure has been repaired, inspected, and confirmed to meet FAA regulations for safe operation," the Port Authority said in a statement.
